Terms of Service
Effective date: June 29, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Better Partner service ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms form a binding legal agreement between you and Lovables LTD, a company registered in Israel ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), which operates Better Partner.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a user under 18, we will promptly delete it.
3. Description of Service
Better Partner is a digital relationship-wellness platform that helps people in existing relationships build healthier communication habits through guided reflections, daily prompts, progress tracking, and - for Premium subscribers - an AI-assisted Helper feature ("AI Helper").
Better Partner is not:
- a mental-health treatment platform
- a therapy or counseling service
- a medical service or provider
- a crisis intervention service
- a dating or matchmaking service

4. Account Registration
You may access certain features without an account. Access to the full Service requires registration via a magic-link sent to your email address; we do not support password-based accounts. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
5. Subscription and Billing
5.1 Free and Premium tiers - The Service is offered on a freemium basis. Certain features, including the AI Helper, are available only to Premium subscribers.
5.2 Annual subscription - Premium subscriptions are offered on an annual basis. The current price is displayed at checkout and may be subject to A/B pricing trials.
5.3 Auto-renewal - Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each annual period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
5.4 Price changes - We will give you reasonable notice of any price change before it takes effect. Continued use after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.
5.5 Cancellation - You may cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@betterpartner.com. Upon cancellation, you retain Premium access until the end of the current paid period. Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund except as provided in Section 8 and our Refund Policy.
5.6 Free trial - New users may receive a free trial of Premium features (currently 5 days) without providing payment-card details. No charge is made during the trial. If you do not subscribe before the trial ends, Premium features become unavailable and your account continues on the free tier. The 7-day money-back period described in Section 8 and our Refund Policy begins on the date of your first paid charge, not at the start of the free trial.
6. Payment Processing and Merchant of Record
Checkout, payment processing, tax collection, invoicing, and certain billing and refund functions are handled by Dodo Payments, our authorized online reseller and Merchant of Record, as identified at checkout and in your purchase confirmation. Dodo Payments is the legal seller for payment-related purposes and is responsible for applicable billing, tax, and consumer-protection obligations connected with the transaction. 7. Taxes
Prices displayed may exclude applicable taxes. Applicable taxes will be calculated and shown at checkout by Dodo Payments. You are responsible for all taxes arising from your subscription where not collected and remitted by Dodo Payments.
8. Refund Policy
Our Refund Policy is published separately at betterpartner.com/refunds and is incorporated into these Terms by reference. In summary: we offer a 7-day, no-questions-asked refund on initial purchases; subsequent refund requests are reviewed case-by-case. Renewal charges are not refundable. 9. Premium AI Helper
9.1 What it is - The AI Helper is a premium feature that processes relationship content you voluntarily submit - such as descriptions of recent interactions or communication patterns - and returns AI-generated reflections and suggestions.
9.2 Third-party AI processing - The AI Helper is powered by Anthropic. Your submitted content is transmitted to Anthropic for processing under Anthropic's commercial terms and Data Processing Addendum. Anthropic does not use content submitted through its commercial API to train its models. Anthropic may retain content for a limited period for trust, safety, and abuse-monitoring purposes in accordance with its policies. Anthropic's data-processing terms are described in our Privacy Policy, Section 7.
9.3 AI limitations - AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. It is provided for reflective and informational purposes only, not as professional advice. You should not rely on AI Helper output for any decision involving medical, psychological, legal, financial, or relationship-crisis matters.
9.4 Premium-only - The AI Helper is not available to free-tier users.
10. No Professional Advice; Crisis Resources
THE SERVICE IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL CARE.
All content and features provided through the Service - including AI Helper output - are for self-guided personal use and informational purposes only. We do not provide, and the Service does not constitute, medical, psychological, psychiatric, therapeutic, counseling, crisis-intervention, legal, financial, or any other professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

11. User Content and License
11.1 Your content - When you submit responses, reflections, feedback, or other content to the Service ("User Content"), you retain ownership of that content.
11.2 License to us - You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, store, display, and process your User Content solely to provide and improve the Service, and as otherwise described in our Privacy Policy. This license terminates when you delete the content or close your account, except where retention is required by law or as set out in the Privacy Policy.
11.3 Your representations - You represent that you have the right to submit any content you provide and that it does not violate any law or third-party rights.
12. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to it
- use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
- reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- share, resell, or sublicense access to the Service
- submit content that is false, misleading, harassing, or otherwise harmful
- impersonate another person or entity
13. Intellectual Property
All content, features, functionality, design, trademarks, and technology of the Service are owned by or licensed to Lovables LTD and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, personal, non-commercial, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. No other rights are granted.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.
15. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:
(a) We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of goodwill, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
(b) Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms, regardless of the form of action, will not exceed the greater of: (i) the total fees you paid to us in the 12-month period immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (ii) $99.00 USD.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Lovables LTD and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service, (b) your User Content, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) your violation of any third-party rights.
17. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.
17.1 Informal resolution - Before initiating arbitration, the party asserting a claim must give the other party written notice describing the claim in reasonable detail and allowing 60 days to attempt informal resolution.
17.2 Binding arbitration - If informal resolution fails, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms (except as provided in Section 17.5) will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules and Procedures. The arbitration will be conducted in English. The arbitrator's decision is final and binding.
17.3 Class-action waiver - You and we agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, consolidated, or representative action.
17.4 Opt-out - You may opt out of binding arbitration by sending written notice to legal@betterpartner.com within 30 days of the date you first agree to these Terms. Your notice must include your name and a statement that you wish to opt out of arbitration.
17.5 Exceptions - Either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except that:
- Users in the United States retain any non-waivable rights under applicable US federal and state consumer-protection laws.
- Users in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom retain any non-waivable rights under applicable EU or UK consumer-protection laws.
19. Force Majeure
We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet outages, acts of government, labor disputes, or third-party service failures.
20. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time for breach of these Terms, without prior notice or liability. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@betterpartner.com. Upon termination, all licenses granted under these Terms end immediately, except that provisions that by their nature should survive (including Sections 11-18) will survive.
21. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance.
22. Entire Agreement; Severability
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
